Launch of new NZGAP Public Register (05 Sept 2024)

Last week, NZGAP launched a revamped public register www.nzgap.co.nz/checkregister, along with the refreshed register for the NZGAP Contractor Standard www.nzgap.co.nz/checkcontractor.

The new registers feature a more user-friendly layout, including visual icons to clearly indicate certification statuses across all programs and add-ons. This improvement is the result of a significant database overhaul, which also enabled new features such as enhanced certificate layouts, streamlined renewal processes, pre-populated forms, and better integration with audit bodies and MPI. These updates not only improve data integrity and process automation but also lay the foundation for future enhancements, including buyer portals to simplify certification and reporting for both growers and stakeholders.
